Explanation of how I did the wireless Oculus Rift. Half-Life 2 Rifted with YEI 3-Space Wireless. A quick weekend experiment using Half-Life2, Oculus Rift, a YEI 3-Space Sensor, and FreePie. This blend of hardware and software encompassing both theory and application is found at few other universities. We examine fundamentals of theory and applications. We study both hardware and software in-depth.
I am working on building a loader to load the scenes from a file format designed, at the moment I am thinking of using a xml like format, that would allow us to read it in fairly easy with the various xml loaders. Very much like Claudius it will allow us more freedom to add and remove objects from the game instead of rebuilding the program each time we change an object.
